Sahana Potti
I am a graphic designer from Philadelphia, PA. I currently work as the senior graphic designer at a financial services firm, Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. I graduated in 2018 from Drexel University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Graphic Design and a Minor in Marketing. During my time at Drexel, I completed my co-op internship at the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. I also had the privilege of studying abroad for a summer in London. I find traveling to different places and learning about other cultures to be wonderful inspiration for my design work.
I am extremely passionate about using my visual communication skills to give back. I am on the Marketing Committee at Neythri, a global community of South Asian professional women. At Neythri, I assist in creating designs to promote their initiatives and raise awareness for women of color. In addition, I am also on the steering committee of an Employee Resource Group at Janney know as WIN or the Women’s Interactive Network. We focus on promoting a great environment for women to grow and advance in their careers. Finally, I am a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts). I greatly enjoy attending local chapter events and learning from my peers in the industry. I love living in Philadelphia and going to the museums, restaurants, and festivals in the city. When I am not designing, you can find me drinking an iced latte, organizing all of my stationary supplies, or making yet another to-do list.
